Norad has provided NOK 85 million in funding to the Norwegian company Scatec to develop green hydrogen projects in Africa. This is the first time that Norad has supported green hydrogen projects. Norad's Director General believes green hydrogen can be a game changer. -

The 2022 Norad Conference
How can we achieve zero poverty and zero emissions by 2030? This is the key question the world is facing as 2030 looms. In order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we need solutions that change the rules of play – what are these solutions? We need to achieve the SDGs whilst also meeting the climate, social and economic targets. This can only be done if we set the bar higher, increase the pace and escalate the efforts. -
