Play for the Advancement of Quality of Education (PAQE II), implemented by Right To Play Mali, is funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD). Using play as a child-centered learning approach, this five-year (05) project involves 476 teachers in initial training, including 238 women, 1 ,200 teachers in service, including 600 women and 2,000 parents including 1 200 women, in order to provide quality education for approximately6 9,10 1 children,i ncluding3 4, 665 girls aged6 -12 yearso f levelsI to 6 of basic education I.
This five-year project started in August 201 7 and will end in December 2021. To ensure its implementation in the regions of Koulikoro, Ségou, Bougouni and the District ofBamako, four social implementation partners were chosen: namely OMAES, RARE, ALED and RED.
The project aims to allow more children (girls, boys from the 1st to the 6th grade) from targeted schoolst o acquireb asics kills and to be equippedt o face the challenges of life once adult.
The objective of this mid-term evaluation is to collect qualitative and quantitative data from the project for a set of indicators described in the Framework of Performance Measurement (CMR).Thesem id-term data will be used to assessth e progresso f the project towards the achievemenot f the expected results during its implementation.
